Asteraceae of Serra da Confusão do Rio Preto, Quirinópolis, Goiás, Brazil

Abstract A floristic inventory and a taxonomic treatment of Asteraceae from Serra da Confusão do Rio Preto in the state Goiás are provided. Collections were carried out July 2017 to December 2018 fragment cerrado sensu stricto with transition rupestre (rocky cerrado), for total 38 expeditions covering all seasons. Taxonomic resulting specimens includes identification keys, diagnoses descriptions, conservation status, endemism examined material. 59 species found, belonging 32 genera 10 tribes. The predominant Lessingianthus (8 spp.) Chromolaena (5 while tribes Vernonieae (19 spp.), Eupatorieae (13 Heliantheae (7 spp.). richness pattern was same as recorded other inventories Cerrado domain, especially stricto. Twenty-one (35.6%) restricted Brazil only Isostigma resupinatum is Goiás. Conyza primulifolia, Lepidaploa cuiabensis sororia new occurrences state.
